On Monday, 22 April 2013, the top academics at Camps Bay High School were honoured during an Assembly. The top ten students in each grade were presented with a badge and encouraged to keep up their excellent work.

CBHS Comedian Kev Orkian - Apr '13

Camps Bay High School pupils and staff were delighted to be entertained by Kev Orkian who is from the UK.

Kev is respected as one of the world’s top comedy pianists. He started his career in the early nineties with major roles in London's West End, in the musicals "Fame", "Buddy Holly", "Me and My Girl", "Happy Days" and "Boogie Nights". He tours the world performing his one-man show in the concert halls of Las Vegas, London, the UAE and Europe.

He returns to the city in June for the Jive Cape Town Funny Festival.

CBHS Camps Bay Ratepayers & Residents Public Meeting - 15 April '13

CBRRA (Camps Bay Ratepayers & Residents Association) will hold a Public Meeting at 19h30 - 21h00, on Monday, 15 April 2013 at The Rotunda, The Bay Hotel, Camps Bay.

Issues to be addressed will be:

• The beachfront upgrade;
• Dogs on the beach;
• Municipal Rates;
• The future of the Green Point Stadium, 

There will also be an address by Cllrs Beverley Schafer and Marga Haywood. CBRRA will also have members available from 5pm to assist with any issues regarding your rates.

Get involved in your community! Make a difference and please attend this very important meeting.

The meeting is open to everyone (teachers, parents and pupils) from Camps Bay Schools.
