grade 10 & 11 work experience

ATTENTION ALL GRADE 10's and 11's: COMMUNITY SERVICE AND WORK EXPERIENCE

PLEASE NOTES YOUR DATES FOR WORKING HAVE CHANGED.
THEY WILL BE 7 - 9 JUNE.

Here is the plan, as promised
· Get work experience/community service form – from your LO teacher. If you do not get one in time from your LO teacher, pick one up from MRS. BRIGDEN.
· Decide where you’d like to go for your work experience/ community service – print outs are available in the library and secretaries office for you to check out possible placements.
· Contact the places you’d like to work-shadow at.

1) GET ALL DETAILS YOU NEED – ie: address, telephone number, fax number, e-mail address and the name of the person who you will be in contact with.
2) Remember you’ll need to give us a rough idea of what you plan to do at your place of work.
3) You need to make sure you complete a MINIMUM of 15 hours work experience over 3 days – fill out how many hours you plan to complete on which days. Your dates will be changed from the 7th - 9th of June.

· Write down the names of the other people who will be going with you to your place of work. Remember to provide their house colour.
· Fill out the form COMPLETELY; make sure all your details are correct.
· Forms to be handed in by Friday 16 APRIL 2010 – PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS THE END OF THE FIRST WEEK OF THE 2ND TERM.
