CBHS Renovates Sentinel Primary School - Jul '14

Matthew Harvey (past pupil and Head Prefect of Camps Bay High School) was part of an initiative to renovate a classroom at Sentinel Primary School at Hangberg in Hout Bay, to house pre-primary school pupils as from the beginning of this term. This will mean that children of Hangberg who are currently spending most of their days on the streets waiting to start school in Grade One next year have an opportunity to start at a Pre-School. Matthew lead a team of Camps Bay Schools pupils (from the Primary and High Schools) who wanted to clock hours for their President's Awards, as well as others who just wanted to help.

This is a project which has been started by a group of dedicated women of HET (Hangberg Educational Trust) which his mom, Mrs Michele Harvey has officially joined. The team completed an amazing project and can be very proud of their community service offered.
